Touchscreen controls crap or maybe not?

Touchscreen controls have the reputation of being crap for emulation but since my Bluetooth pad broke I'm wondering can touch screen be playable?

If you're using touchscreen controls then please post your setting maybe with a pic and your own thoughts on how comfortable are they.

A problem with Wip3out SE.

Hi, I have a bit a problem with Wip3out SE on Android.
The problem is that, as you can see from the screenshots below, part of the screen on the right is cut-off and appears on the left of the screen.
Is there any way I can fix this?

Just to clarify this only happens on Wip3out SE and not on any other game i've tried.
I am running this on an Xperia PLAY R800i, Android 2.3.7.

EDIT: Never mind I fixed it by going into 'Move Screen' in the options menu....

Hi everyone

Desperately need some help with Final Fantasy VII. I'm at the end of the game in the Northern Crater, travelling down to the final boss battles. The game has run flawlessly to this point. However, I have encountered a major slow down problem on the screen attached; the background is entirely black with only the platforms and character visible.

You will see that I have got halfway through the screen; this has taken around 30mins. Yet, the frame rate has always remained at 59-60 so...

PS3 controller vibration

Hi, yeah, so maybe one of you will have better idea than me.
I started using PS3 controller (DS3) on my Galaxy S3 with the help of sixaxis app. All works great, but still, one thing bothers me.
Vibration.
I mean it should work and as far as I know, it is.
The problem is that it works only when in my ePSXe control configuration is set to virtual touch gamepad with vibration enabled and gamepad is mapped thru hardware buttons menu.
And this causes DS3 vibration to work, only it works in tandem...

Can't disable virtual gamepad

Using ePSXe v.2.0.6 on Android 5.1.1.
Dualshock 3 is attached via Sixaxis Controller app using android native joystick interface to Player 1 slot. Other joystick slots are disabled (Pad Type PSX: Disconnected, Select Gamepad: none).
The problem is that the virtual gamepad still works as attached to the Player 1 slot. The phone vibrates together with the joystick and the buttons of the virtual gamepad work.

Could someone please advice what else should I check to completely disable the...

Remove Games from Playlist

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out how to clear out my games list. I have some game files that don't work but still show up in the list even after deleting the files from my external hard drive.

I have already tried to delete the game list files in the info folder but to no avail.

I'm currently running epsxe on a shied tv.

Input lag ever since 2.0

Hello. I've been using epsxe for Android for a few years now, but have recently encountered a new problem. Ever since the 2.0 update, I've been getting input lag while using my Bluetooth controller. We're currently on 2.0.6 and the problem still hasn't gone away. I was able to find an older version (1.9.40) and sure enough, the input lag was pretty much nonexistent on that version. Is there any recommended settings that I should try to reduce the input lag as much as possible?

Like having two sets of L1/2 and R1/2.

Analog stick of the SECOND controller slot not working

Hi all. I'm having the following
Nvidia shield tablet k1
Nvidia controller
Another xiaomi bluetooth controller
Epsxe android 2.0.6

Everytime I assigned a controller (nvidia or xiaomi) to the second controller slot in epsxe, that controller's analog stick stops working (other buttons still act normally) I've tried remap all buttons, switching 1st and 2nd controllers. The weird thing is if that controller get assigned to 1P slot, the analog works

Hello

I have been spending a long time trying to find/figure out one solution to a issue related to keyboard input behavior on my android device.

I bought one physical gamepad which can be used as:
1) Default gamepad controls (diretionals + back + backspace and some others buttons)
2) Keyboard
3) Keyboard + mouse

The manufacturer advices using option (2) for emulators. So I have done it. It's simple and easy to setup the buttons as keyboard into ePSXe Android version. But once its...

hi all, i have a bit of knowledge with emulators but this one has beaten me! ive searched the net but to no avail.. i have an MBX google box, 4.2.2 and have many other emulators working fine, but with epsxe i cant configure any game pads i have with it? ive tried my SNES usb pad and it shows up and i can configure it but when i go to play the game the directional pad doesnt work, same with my sega play game pad as well... but when i plug in my old grey PSX pad via a USB the PSX female...

Custom game profile is not working?

As the title says, it is not working?
For example, for Road Rash game I set input to digital, then I save the game profile.
Then i reload the game it says "loading game profile..." for a few seconds and disappeared.
There is no confirmation that the profile is loaded, is it supposed to to that?
Obviously I checked input method and it is set to analog

I'm getting a blank game cover art. The game cover doesn't appear it was just a white color. I already tried to re-scan the games a few times but it still don't show. The games work just fine but all of my games don't have a cover.

ePSXe Saved Problem

Hi guys, i'm new here.

So i'm using an Android Device as platform to play ePSXe, and when i saved my file i quit the game, i try to clean my cache and Miscellaneous file, in Miscellaneous file there's ePSXe data about 1-5MB size, and i thought it's okay to delete it which is i did, and i got happy because when i play my games again my saved file is gone :D (of course i got pissed off not happy)

So, i thought it was a memory direction is the problem, so i changed it to my External SD card,...

ePSXe can't view files via "run game"

I'm running on a Pixel, Android version 7.1.

For some reason, whenever I go to "run game," I can't view any files. The file explorer works just fine when trying to select a bios, but shows nothing when trying to select a game.

I just installed it so it should be the most recent update. I've tried reinstalling. Storage permissions for the app are turned on. I can't find anything via google.

Any idea for how to fix this?

NES30 Pro 8BitDo Controller config

I've just bought the Android app for my Nexus but I can't seem to set up my NES30 Pro Controller and it doesn't appear in the list of Bluetooth controllers.

How do I set it up? Can I not map the buttons like most emulators?
