Input lag ever since 2.0

Hello. I've been using epsxe for Android for a few years now, but have recently encountered a new problem. Ever since the 2.0 update, I've been getting input lag while using my Bluetooth controller. We're currently on 2.0.6 and the problem still hasn't gone away. I was able to find an older version (1.9.40) and sure enough, the input lag was pretty much nonexistent on that version. Is there any recommended settings that I should try to reduce the input lag as much as possible?
