I tried playing DW3 on the android version of ePSXe today & ran into the the same problem 2 times in a row (confirming it's a legitimate issue & not just a random glitch).
At the beginning of the game, after you receiving your digimon in the lobby & automatically walking out, I run into issues when the old man shows you how to battle.
